PLEASE NOTE: Due to the advanced age that WW2 Veterans are now at, some of them have difficulty recalling the details of their wartime experience. While we have had success helping many veterans recall long-forgotten memories through casual conversation and patience, others’ memories are, unfortunately, so far gone that an interview may only cause them to become uncomfortable and potentially frustrated. Please take into consideration the recall state of your veteran and include those details in this form as necessary. We are willing to do just about anything it takes to preserve these stories, but not at the expense of the veterans’ comfort and well-being.
